“I think one thing we all have in common is that we all lose motivation. Even the most motivated people are actually human too. But how do you find the motivation every day? And how do you keep on doing that the rest of your life?

Sounds stressful. And it kinda is. It’s not for everyone, but I want it to be for you.

Let me remind you, nothing great will ever come easy, and the biggest thing I was able to hold on to during my own personal tough times, bad days, and just the low-points in life was the reasons why I do it all. The more you can pad yourself with the reasons to keep going, the reasons to keep the routine, the reasons to continue on when it’s the hardest…the more you can be unbreakable and have life-long motivation.

Here are some of my reasons for waking up early, seizing the day, getting in a workout even though I’m tired, and never giving up on what I believe. These are mine, but I want you to think of your own.

1. I want to be a good example. With 6 nieces and nephews, a stepdaughter, and one on the way (yes you heard that correctly), I will always have the young ones watching me. It is so important for us to set the example by DOING IT ourselves.

2. My friends and family deserve my best. Taking responsibility for your life, getting your shit done without complaining, taking care of your personal life, taking care of your body. The people around us deserve to have the best version of us…and we would want the same from them.

3. I don’t want the regrets. Look back at all the things you’ve done in your life. I bet you’ll never regret waking up early, going to the gym, breaking the procrastination cycle, eating a very healthy meal, buying someone a gift, or doing someone a favor. But on the flip-side, oh hell no. I don’t want that weight on me.

4. I like to choose my hard, I don’t want the hard to choose me. Some of you heard this before. There’s two “hards” in every scenario. Why not give yourself the POWER and FREEDOM to choose your hard. There’s a hard that goes along with doing it and there’s a hard that goes along with NOT doing it. For example, when it comes to fitness, my preferred hard is the struggle of completing a 1 hour workout (not that bad) versus what happens to your mind and body when you don’t.

With that being said, if you don’t have a WHY then you will easy find a WAY OUT. Figure out your WHY, and hold on to it, it’s literally what we live for.”
